Melanie is very experienced in the pet industry and has a true passion for animal care. She has been a professional dog walker for over a year. She also frequently volunteers at dog and cat rescues, has worked as a Kennel Attendant, at a veterinary clinic, and has a degree in Animal Science.
Her favorite part of working with animals is the ability to provide them with socialization and enrichment in a unique and personal way that brings them joy and supports their overall well-being.
Melanie’s favorite dog breed is the greyhound, but she is also fond of huskies and border collies. She loves that greyhounds have a more docile personality while huskies and collies have a bold energetic spirit and zest for life.
During her free time, Melanie enjoys going on long walks and tuning into her favorite podcasts. She also frequently attends barre and cycle classes and likes to keep active. In her downtime, you can find her watching independent films and ordering food from French Meadow, her favorite local healthy, vegan restaurant.
