Hi, I’m Aaike! I’m a veterinary student with goals to work in cat and dog medicine after I graduate. I have worked in a variety of veterinary clinics, farms, and even a zoo in the past! I have an interest in all animals but I especially love horses, tabby cats, and sheepdogs! I have a fluffy old kitty named Romeo right now and I love him so much despite his grumpy attitude. My favorite part of working for animals is getting to advocate for them to get the best care and quality of life possible. I also love how fun and unique each animal is! It is so rewarding to get to know so many different animals. Outside of working with animals, I love hiking, skiing, cooking, and weightlifting. I am outdoors as much as possible! Some of my favorite things are ginger snap cookies, country music, and watching football so I will definitely be enjoying those things in my free time!
