Hi, my name is Anya! I have great experience working with animals due to owning and caring for a wide variety of animals throughout my life! I have owned a bird, four mice, two dogs, several fish, a butterfly, a hamster, a bunny, and two guinea pigs. My mom also owned a tarantula for the majority of my life, so I know some things about them too!
My favorite breed of dogs are beagles, which may be a bit biased because my childhood dog of 14 years was a beagle. I love how they love to sniff, how cuddly they are, and how they are just happy to be alive. Close seconds are pit bulls, dalmatians, and labradors! At the moment I currently have a pet bunny named Molly, and my mom and I co-own two guinea pigs!
My favorite part about working with animals is simply being able to learn their personalities. They have so many fun quirks, and almost always seem to be happy about everything. I love to spoil them, and no matter what mood I’m in they always bring me so much joy.
I do love to work, but outside of work I am studying accounting and finance. I also love to spend time with family and friends. I enjoy writing, and spending time outside too. My favorite season is definitely Fall. I love the cooler weather, the clothing, the colors, and I am a huge fan of Halloween! I don’t have a specific favorite restaurant, but if they serve sushi or chinese I’m there! One fun fact about me is that I have trained eight chipmunks in my backyard to eat from my hand, and I have almost trained a squirrel to do the same! :)
