Hi I’m Heather!

I’ve had dogs my entire life all with different needs and level of care, so I mostly learned everything I know today about them from growing up with them and learning to care for them in all stages of their life at a young age. It’s a rewarding experience to help them and be with them at any stage of their lives! My favorite breed of dog is a pitbull because those were the dogs I grew up with and they have such a bad name in the media. They truly are sweethearts in every possible way and in my experience, they give you lots of kisses and cuddles! I currently have a pitbull named Davie that I adopted last summer. He is so special to me in every possible way!

I love working with animals because it’s so fun to see their different personalities and watch them get excited about going for walks or a treat and anything in between. They truly make everyday so much better. My hobbies include reading, going for walks, taking Davie to dog parks, camping, exploring the city and finding new restaurants or cute little cafes, going to concerts or sporting events, hiking, fitness classes, and traveling whenever possible! My favorite season is fall because of the colors and naturally my favorite holiday is Halloween too! My favorite restaurant near the metro area that i’ve been to would have to be the Tilted Tiki in Stillwater so far! I love a good tiki/tropical themed restaurant.
