Mary has had pets as long as she can remember. She's had cats, dogs, birds, bunnies and fish. Currently she owns two cats: King Louie and Roland. Her favorite breed of dogs would probably be Corgis. She loves their short little bodies and their big ears! Her favorite part of working with animals is getting to know their unique personalities. Friendly or shy, she enjoys getting in some playtime and pets if possible.
Outside of work Mary keeps an active lifestyle, enjoying things like working out, hiking, kayaking, trying out new restaurants, live music and the occasional night in with a good show. When asked which season is her favorite she said, "As much as I love Minnesota summers and summer vacations as a full time teacher, I would have to choose Fall as my favorite season. I enjoy the cooler weather, pumpkin spice everything and the changing colors of the leaves. Some of Mary's other interests are her favorite band of all time, Fleetwood Mac. Other favorite musicians/bands include: Death Cab for Cutie, Florence + The Machine and The National. She is a true crime junkie and listens to a lot of podcasts about it including Small Town Murder and Morbid.
