Business Owner
As a young child Megan wanted to be a veterinarian, but as she grew up her interests changed to other scientific fields. However, her love for animals never waned and the four years Megan was at college were the only times she hasn't lived with a dog, cat, or both! After years of working as an engineer, Come, Sit, Stay owner Megan Sellheim found herself the way many boarded pets do: cooped up, unhappy and striving for more. Megan realized she needed a career change—one that would fulfill her passion for animals and for helping others. So in 2010, Megan decided to unleash her personal passions into the professional world by founding Come, Sit, Stay. Come, Sit, Stay is now a local, trusted leader in providing playful, personalized and professional pet care in the Twin Cities.
At home Megan lives with her husband Michael and their dog Maynard (Pitbull Mix). Megan has a soft spot for Pitbulls, Great Danes, and black cats - all types of pets she has had herself. She finds joy in all seasons through Come, Sit, Stay's work outdoors. Outside of work, she loves to play basketball, read, and spend time with friends and family.
