Shannon

My love for animals started when I was just a little girl, and it has guided my entire career. I've been with the Come, Sit, Stay team since April 2017. Before that, I spent over twenty years working as a Certified Veterinary Technician in an emergency and specialty practice in Milwaukee focused on Canine Rehabilitation. My husband Troy and I found our way to Minneapolis, and I'm lucky to be here with this team. I grew up in northern Wisconsin and spent a lot of my later life in Milwaukee.

Troy and I have a Retriever mix named Mulligan. Before Mulligan, I owned a Collie Mix, a Bernese Mountain Dog, a Dachshund, a Golden Retriever, and two cats. I've had a wide variety of favorite dog breeds and find it hard to pick just one. My personal and professional experience with animals has given me a great depth of knowledge about canine behavior, and I'm always looking to expand it. All animals have their own special qualities, and my passion for discovering them is what inspires me to work with animals.

In my free time, I enjoy staying active by lifting weights, traveling, and hiking. I'm also a massive sports fan, and while I love all my Minnesota clients, my heart belongs to my Wisconsin teams! You can count on me to passionately root for the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers every season.
